Big Ben Ski Centre Opens for the Season

Cornwall, ON – Big Ben Ski Centre is excited to kick off another season of winter fun right here in Cornwall. Snow fall and subzero temperatures have given the hill a solid base of snow, much to the delight of its faithful patrons and Big Ben family

The season was able to begin earlier than expected and the hill is excited to showcase some new looks as they gear up for the much-anticipated season ahead.

Visitors to the Centre will enjoy a revamped color scheme for the hill this season, as well as a new and improved canteen and Big Ben chalet. The ongoing expansion of the rail garden will feature a new 20ft and 30ft tube and rail to an already elaborate playground for its riders.

There are so many different ways to get on the hill this year with season passes available, convenient ticket bundles, daily lift tickets and even birthday party packages that are sure to please your group.

The Centre’s lending library of ski and snowboard equipment provides guests with a chance to experience something new with the support and guidance of the Big Ben team.

As usual, the hill will play host to several events throughout the season in addition to its daily operations. Ski with Santa over the holidays, teen nights under the lights and big air competitions are just a few of the highlights to come. Live bands will once again add to the backdrop on select days of the calendar to enhance the Big Ben experience and provide some quality entertainment. About Big Ben Ski Centre

Located on Seventh Street West directly across from the Benson Centre, Big Ben Ski Centre is open Wednesday 3pm to 9 PM, Thursday, Friday from 3 pm to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Admission is $17 (all patrons) on weeknights and weekends. Bundle ticket packages and season passes are also available.

In addition to general admission, Big Ben also offers private ski and snowboard lessons.
