Get a real taste of the town by visiting one of the local markets or touring one of the local farms offering a pick your own experience.
Looking for a fresh food experience? There’s nothing better than stopping by the local farmers’ market to pick up some fresh produce and other tastefully-prepared goods or venturing out to the nearby farm to pick your own berries. Fortunately, Cornwall has plenty of these options right on her doorstep. It’s a perfect way to enjoy local food – and the amazing people and stories it!
Hosted at St. Lawrence College on Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm during the spring, summer and early fall, the Kinsmen Cornwall Farmers’ Market is an all local, producer-only market which means everything is grown or made by the people selling it.
There’s a mix of locally-grown produce, fresh meats, homemade preserves, baked goods, and artisan vendors – with the majority hailing from Cornwall and SDG Counties.
In addition to dozens of market vendors, the market also offers special events, entertainment, food-related demonstrations and family and children’s activities in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
