Earth Matters: A Month-Long Art Celebration in Downtown Cornwall

CORNWALL, ON – Throughout April, the streets of Downtown Cornwall are coming alive with colour and conversation as the Earth Matters Exhibition takes center stage. This regional art showcase invites residents and visitors alike to explore the wonders of our “foundational home”—the Earth—through the eyes of local creators.

Running from April 1–30, the exhibition features a diverse range of works from regional artists, each offering a unique perspective on environmental beauty and sustainability. This exhibition offers a meaningful way to engage with the local creative community.

Where to Find the Art

The exhibition is spread across four key Downtown Cornwall locations, making it a perfect self-guided “art walk.” Visitors can find featured works at:

  • Location 1: Carrots N’ Dates | 116 Pitt St.
  • Location 2: Cornwall Public Library | 45 Second St. E.
  • Location 3: Cornwall Square | 1 Water St.
  • Location 4: The Golden Thread Sanctuary (formerly New Mindset Holistic Health & Yoga) | 12 Second St. W.
    • Special Viewing Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays (3 – 7 PM) and Sundays (11 AM – 3 PM).

  • Dates: Now through April 30, 2026.
  • Admission: Free and open to the public.
  • How to Explore: Start at any of the four locations and look for the Earth Matters signage. Each site features different artists and mediums.
