The SDG Historical Society’s Speaker Series wraps up with a fascinating journey along the waterway that has shaped Cornwall’s identity for centuries. Originally slated for March 10, Cornwall Community Museum curator and local historian Don Smith will now bring this presentation to life on Tuesday, April 21.
This “behind-the-scenes” look at our history guides the audience along our section of the St. Lawrence, providing glimpses of the people, businesses, and events that created the Cornwall we know today. From the early voyageurs to the building of the Seaway, learn how the river has seen it all.
