The Taste Buds are celebrating their 5-year anniversary in delicious style with the launch of a brand-new food event, Carnival Eats, running from August 20–29, 2025.

For the first time ever, participating restaurants have no menu restrictions, they’re free to create any carnival-inspired dish they can dream up. Think: Bacon-Wrapped Pogos, Funnel Cake Nachos, Deep-Fried Mac & Cheese Balls, Cotton Candy Chicken Tenders, and other over-the-top fairground flavours.

How it works:

  • Each restaurant creates one exclusive carnival-themed menu item
  • Items are available for 10 days only (August 20–29) at the participating Restaurant location
  • You’re encouraged to try as many as you’d like and vote for your favorite
  • Both a Judge’s Award and People’s Choice Award will be crowned at the end of the event

Carrots N’ Dates, Billy K’s, Seguin Patate, Mr. Puffs, Sol De Acapulco, Jet Set Pub, Jacks Pub & Cowan’s Dairy
