It is under subdued lighting and therefore in a very cozy and listening atmosphere that the two musicians: The violinist: Mathieu Côté and the cellist: Guillaume Côté will present themselves to you that afternoon , with no other intention than to make you experience a musical afternoon marked by charm, elegance, delight and wonder! This event will be held Sunday September 15 at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
That afternoon, wonderful music drawn from the romantic, classical and popular repertoire and infinitely beneficial, will arise and invade the beautiful co-cathedral in Cornwall with a glow imbued with indescribable beauty and serenity! An afternoon which will be distinguished above all by the melodious resonance of music as beautiful as it is joyful. In short, a special concert, which is intended to be much more than simple entertainment… a moment of happiness for the soul!
As a curtain raiser, you will hear the famous “Guillaume Teel ouverture”, one of the best-known works of classical music, followed by works each more well-known than the last. For example: Ravel Bolero, Schindler’s list, Greensleeves, Palladio of Jenkings, A medley of movie melody and several others!
