The Power of Pollinators Workshop

Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre
This family friendly event provides the opportunity to explore and catch insects, learn to identify them and determine if they are a pollinator or not. River Institute staff will also talk about the native plant species throughout the garden. Learn how a Malaise trap works that can help catch live flying insects for research purposes. Microscopes will be used to help with the insect identification during the workshop as well.
