Explore Upper Canada Village with the Canada Strong Pass

Cornwall Ontario – Visitors to Cornwall and SDG Counties will now be able to visit Upper Canada Village and save money at the same time.

The St. Lawrence Parks Commission is once again participating in in the Canada Strong Pass, a Government of Canada initiative aimed at making cultural and heritage attractions more accessible, affordable, and memorable for Canadians and visitors alike.

From June 19 to September 7, 2026, enjoy big savings with this special offer:

FREE admission for kids 17 and under
50% off admission for young adults aged 18-24
Open to everyone – Canadians and international visitors

Connected by Bike paths

The Riverside Trail runs along Cornwall’s waterfront before extending west as a smooth, scenic multi‑use path that follows the St. Lawrence River all the way to Upper Canada Village. This continuous route lets cyclists ride traffic‑free from the city directly to the historic site. Because the trail links Cornwall’s hotels, campgrounds, and riverfront restaurants, visitors can stay in town and enjoy an easy, dedicated bike‑path connection straight to Upper Canada Village.

About Upper Canada Village

Upper Canada Village is one of Canada’s largest living-history destinations. Located in Morrisburg, Ontario, it recreates life in a rural English-Canadian community in the year 1866. The site features over 40 historic buildings, working mills, costumed interpreters, and heritage livestock. Many of its authentic 18th- and 19th-century buildings were relocated to the site to save them from being submerged during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway in the 1950s. The towns that were flooded are now referred to as the “Lost Villages“.

Upper Canada Village is connected to Cornwall by the Riverside Trail which offers a scenic cycling experience along the St. Lawrence River. Visitors can start in Cornwall, explore the Lost Villages Museum, take in the scenic Long Sault Parkway before heading to Upper Canada Village.
