October 19, 2026

WELCOME TO CORNWALL TOURISM!

The City of Cornwall is delighted to welcome Kimberly Vass-Lihou as its new Tourism Coordinator.

A Cornwall native, Vass-Lihou brings a strong background in marketing, communications, project management, and workforce development, providing a solid foundation to help advance tourism in Cornwall.

In her new role, Kimberly will focus on strengthening Cornwall’s tourism presence by showcasing everything the Seaway City has to offer, from its rich history and vibrant arts and culture scene to its waterfront charm, local shops, restaurants, live sports, and entertainment.

“I’m excited to celebrate the people, places, and experiences that make Cornwall such a special place to visit and explore”, said Vass-Lihou.

Kimberly’s expertise and creative approach will help grow Cornwall’s profile as a tourism destination. She will also support a number of key initiatives throughout the year, including representing Cornwall at consumer trade shows, supporting local festivals and events, identifying new tourism and investment opportunities, and leading high-priority social media marketing efforts aimed at attracting visitors from Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal, and beyond.

“Tourism marketing today is driven by storytelling, creativity, and digital engagement, and Kim brings all of those strengths to the role,” said Shauna Baggs, Supervisor of Arts, Culture and Tourism. “Her creativity, combined with strong communications and social media expertise, will help us showcase Cornwall in fresh and engaging ways. Kim’s ability to connect with audiences in both English and French will also help us reach new visitors and continue promoting Cornwall’s unique attractions, events, and experiences across Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and beyond.”
