Merry Mini Collections returns to Cline House Gallery

Cornwall, Ontario – “Twelve by twelve” can mean different things depending on the context, most commonly referring to the dimensions of a square space. But at the Cline House Gallery it means only one thing – it’s time for the Merry Mini Holiday Exhibition. What is the Merry Minis Exhibit? It is the annual end of year show at the gallery. A fantastic display of regional talent all hung together; each work measuring 12” by 12”; in the medium of the artists’ choosing. In past years, there has been painting, glass, textile, photography, and 3-dimensional mixed media pieces.

In the two major gallery spaces the work of over 50 local and regional artists will be exhibited; that amounts to 250 works of art for sale supporting artists, the Cline House Gallery, and visitors looking for a wonderful way to score unique gifts this Holiday season. If that were not enough, in the Conservatory of the Cline House you will find the annual Mini Holiday Market, a selection of giftable items from over 25 local artisans, everything from wearables to delectables, and every kind of small handmade creation you can think of in between.

The Merry Mini Exhibition heralds not only the end of the year but is also an effective way to contemplate current trends, subject matter, and the creative innovations artists are applying today. It’s a great way to discover artists brand new to the gallery and to see what your favourite artists have been up to – all while ticking off your holiday shopping list!t of art this holiday season with a one-of-a-kind piece from the Merry Mini Collections at Cline House Gallery

The Merry Mini Collections show opens on Thursday, November 6th at 7 pm and everyone is welcome to attend. The show runs until Saturday, December 20th and Cline House Gallery is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free and there is ample parking on site.
