Off the Wall Exhibit to Exude Colour During all of July

Cornwall, ON – Vibrant and lively colours have bloomed within the Cline House Gallery. Off the Wall, an exhibit by celebrated artists Cynthia Gatien and Jayne Allister promises to impress anyone who crosses the gallery’s front door.

The opening reception for the exhibit is slated for Saturday, July 11, at 1 p.m., but art lovers across the region and as far as Maine have already made their way to the gallery to appreciate the many works on display.

While living in Atlanta in the 1980s, regional artist Cynthia Gatien studied photography, sharpening her technical skills and deepening her attention to nuance, detail and colour.

Jayne Allister, on the other hand, specializes in creating art using textiles, which enables her to create a wide range of pieces.

Allister’s colourful textile creations and Gatien’s stunning paintings are displayed at the Cline House Gallery until Saturday, August 1^st.

Off the Wall is on display at the Cline House Gallery, 204 Second Street East, from Wednesday, July 8, 2026 to Saturday, August 1^st, 2026, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Vernissage: Saturday, Saturday, July 11^th at 1 p.m.
