Pumpkinferno

Planning to visit Pumpkinferno this fall? If so, you’ll want to get your tickets in advance.

The one-of-a-kind attraction at Upper Canada Village is seeing huge crowds this fall, especially on Saturday nights. Long line-ups both to get into the parking area and the event have prompted organizers to further reduce the maximum number of tickets available each night.

“We want to ensure that all of our visitors have the best experience possible and also maintain a safe environment. Anyone wishing to visit should purchase tickets online,” said Tracey Ogilby, Manager of Upper Canada Village.

Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Tickets are available online at www.UpperCanadaVillage.com and the number of remaining tickets is clearly displayed. Upper Canada Village will regularly update messaging on ticket availability on the website and social media channels.

For visitors wishing to avoid the hustle and bustle of a busy evening, here are a few recommendations:

– Take advantage of reduced Fallback Thursday pricing (Adult/Senior $12; Youth (5-12 yrs) $8 and avoid the crowds. Pricing is plus HST and online service fee;
– Plan to arrive a little later. Crowds diminish after 8 pm, parking will be easier plus the line up to get in will be shorter. Pumpkinferno is open until 10 pm;
– Tickets are limited. Print your online ticket and have it ready at the admissions gate.
– Tickets are date specific and those arriving the wrong night will be asked to return on the date the ticket is valid; and
– Watch the website and social media for updates. If the website indicates SOLD OUT, there are no more tickets available either online or at the gate.

Pricing

Adult (13 yrs+) $16.00; Youth (5-12 yrs) $12.00; Children 4 years of age and younger are free. All prices are plus HST.

About Pumpkinferno

Pumpkinferno is a nighttime walking tour of over two dozen hand-carved spellbinding exhibits made from over 7,000 artificial pumpkins crafted from molds of real pumpkins. While many depict surreal, mythological or exotic worldly themes, other exhibits showcase pop culture and heritage-based themes specifically designed to reflect the local region. The tour is set up over approximately a one kilometre distance.
