Santa Claus Parade returns on Saturday, November 18

Santa Claus is coming to town!
Jolly St. Nick will once again take time out of his busy schedule to visit Cornwall for the annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 18th.
The parade – a much-anticipated holiday tradition – will start at 5 pm at St. Lawrence Intermediate School (1450 Second Street East) and travel west along Second Street to Augustus Street.
“It’s shaping up to be a great parade this year,” said Terry Muir of the Santa Claus Parade Committee. “We have nearly 60 entries for the parade at this point, with more arriving every day.”
This year marks the 52nd edition of the parade and the theme this year is “Lights of Fairyland Christmas.”
Santa will be joined on the parade route by a number of marching bands, including the Royal West Academy Band.
“That’s the first time they join the parade since Covid, so that’s exciting,” Muir added.
Breakfast with Santa
In addition to the parade, there will be a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, November 18th from 8 am to 10:30 am in the lower-level salons of the Cornwall Civic Complex.
The breakfast is hosted by the Optimist Club of Cornwall. Children can eat for free with a donation requested from parents!
