Shorty Jenkins Classic Returns to yourTV for an Action-Packed Weekof Curling!

Cornwall, ON — The excitement of the Shorty Jenkins Classic is coming
back to your screen, broadcast live by Cogeco’s yourTV! From September 10-14, 2025, the
Cornwall Curling Club will host some of the world’s best curlers as they kick off their season
in style. Don’t miss a moment of the action as these top athletes face off!

The Cornwall Curling Club will be the epicenter of the curling world, featuring top teams like
Switzerland’s Yannick Schwaller, fan-favorite Matt Dunstone, and two-time defending
champion and curling icon Rachel Homan. yourTV will bring you exciting draws throughout
the week, including three playoff draws on Sunday, September 14th, culminating with the
men’s and women’s finals.

About the Shorty

The AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic is one of the longest running professional curling events in Canada and features one of the highest combined purses. It was not held from 2020 to 2022 due to the pandemic. This will be the 26th year for the Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic and the eighth year being held in Cornwall. The bonspiel is named in honor of Shorty Jenkins, who was widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential ice makers in the sport of curling.

About the Cornwall Curling Centre

One of Ontario’s oldest curling clubs enjoys a modern, state-of-the-art curling facility on the banks of the beautiful St. Lawrence River in Cornwall. The facility sports six sheets of ice that are in constant use by adults and kids alike. The Centre is located at 220 Water Street East, next to the Cornwall Aquatic Centre and Cornwall Civic Complex. Ample free parking is available.
