• Basic campsite rates held steady year-over-year (with a slight decrease) at 8 out of 10 campgrounds.
Booking on March 7
High demand for sites is expected, so guests are encouraged to log into the online reservation system and book their sites early.
The online booking process is fast, easy and with more campers able to book simultaneously, it is the best way to secure a site this season. Last year the online reservation system processed more than 1,100 transactions in five minutes, while it took three minutes to process a single phone transaction.
To ensure a successful reservation experience, follow these helpful tips:
1. Plan in advance: Review the campgrounds and their descriptions and make a list of campgrounds and sites you want to book. Have backup sites too, just in case!
2. Know the park rules: Note the required minimum length stay or which sites are pet-friendly. Make sure your favourite sites will work for the dates you want by understanding the campground and site specifics.
3. Set up your account: Create or update your account online in advance of reservation day. Adding your search preferences to your profile will make the reservation process even faster.
4. We are here to help: We have self-serve educational tools, including how-to videos, on creating an online account and making reservations. Visit our Frequently Asked Questions or you can also book an appointment for help preparing.
