Stage is set for Beer Bourbon BBQ Blues Festival

Beer, Bourbon, BBQ and Blues Festival

Over 2,000 people are expected to attend the inaugural Beer Bourbon BBQ and Blues Festival at NAV CENTRE this weekend, a fact that makes organizer Ian Bentley very happy.

“We want to showcase our amazing facility here at the NAV Centre as well as the incredible city of Cornwall,” says Mr. Bentley, a senior director with the NAV CENTRE. “The festival offers some fantastic craft breweries, some amazing food and of course great music from four amazing artists.”

Internationally recognized blues star JW Jones will be headlining the lineup which also includes the Gary Cain Band, the Jerome Tucker Band and the Legendary Castaways.

The event will run from 12 pm to 7 pm on Saturday July 14, with all activities on the outer grounds of the NAV CENTRE. There will be a full slate of food, drink and music offerings for festival goers, all in a scenic setting overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

Beer
There were will be 18 craft breweries offering their wares at the festival, including Cornwall’s own Rurban Brewery and Humble Beginnings from Ingleside.

Bourbon
There will be 8 bourbon distillers present, including Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey.

BBQ
Executive Chef Luc McCabe and his staff have been busy preparing for this big event. Expect the sweet smoky flavours of some good ol’ barbeque.

Blues
Music will provide the background for the entire day. Here is the line up:

12:00pm – 1:30pm – Jerome Tucker Band

2:00pm – 3:30pm – The Legendary Castaways

4:00pm – 5:30pm – Gary Cain Band

6:00pm – 7:30pm – JW Jones Band

Tickets
Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the NAV CENTRE. Please note that tickets are limited and the event may sell out. Sample coupons for Beer, Bourbon and BBQ can be purchased inside the event.

Accommodations
You can expand your festival experience with a room at the NAV CENTRE, which features an onsite pub, spa and indoor pool. Room rates start at $104/night. To make a reservation, please contact the front desk at (613) 936-5800.
