Taco Love Returns: A Ten-Day Fiesta Celebrating Local Culinary Talent

The much-anticipated Taco Love event is back! Running from April 30th to May 9th, this ten-day culinary spectacle is proudly hosted by Taste Buds, marking the fourth year of what has become our most celebrated event. With seven local restaurants gearing up to showcase their unique taco creations, the city is set to transform into a vibrant hub of food and festivity.

As always, the event coincides with Cinco de Mayo, adding an extra layer of excitement and celebration to the atmosphere. Each participating restaurant has been challenged to create a signature taco that reflects their culinary creativity and passion. These creations will not only delight residents but will also compete for the coveted People’s Choice Award. Alongside public voting, a panel of judges will sample each entry to determine the winner of the prestigious Judges’ Award.

“We are thrilled to bring Taco Love back for its fourth iteration. This event has grown significantly over the years, and it’s a testament to the community’s love for good food and local entrepreneurship,” said the Taste Buds. “As we approach the fifth anniversary of Taste Buds, Taco Love is a highlight of our year. It’s a passion project that celebrates the local restaurants and the vibrant community that supports them.”

The seven restaurants participating in this year’s Taco Love are:

• Carrots N’ Dates
• Au Vieux Duluth
• Jack’s Pub
• Sol de Acapulco
• Jet Set Pub
• The Loose Caboose

These establishments are excited to welcome both locals and visitors from surrounding areas, inviting them to enjoy not only their tacos but also their varied, delicious menus. Taco Love is more than just a food event; it’s a community celebration that supports local businesses and brings people together in a festive, joyful atmosphere.
