The List- March Break Fun

With March Break coming up, there are an abundance of exciting events in Cornwall and SDG Counties to keep you entertained.
Here’s a list of event ideas to get you started:
Big Ben
Catch some big air over the March Break at Big Ben Ski Centre! The Centre will be open with many activities for you and the family.

March Break at OPG
Join Ontario Power Generation and community partners during March Break for free programming all week at the Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre in Cornwall. There’s daily activities focused on science and technology, environmental research and much more. It’s also an opportunity to check out this cool attraction which offers fun interactive games and exhibits that are sure to entertain the whole family!

Outdoor rinks
Check out one of the City’s outdoor rinks (weather permitting) for some old-fashion fun.

Swims, skates and more
Take the plunge at the Cornwall Aquatic Centre or skate the day away at the Benson Centre! There’s a variety of swimming and skate sessions taking place throughout the week. There’s also fun classes and activities taking place at the Benson Centre all week long.

Tobogganing
How about sliding the day away with some tobogganing? The hill in Lamoureux Park and the eastern entrance to the Long Sault Parkway are two popular spots to slide the day away (weather permitting).

Check out fun and engaging daily activities offered by the Cornwall Public Library all week long!

Rush Hour Escapes
Escape to a world of fun at Rush Hour Escapes! Two challenging escape rooms will test your group as you work together to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to escape before time runs out!

Seedy Saturday
Head to the Benson Centre Saturday March 15, 2025, for Seedy Saturday, a free, family-friendly event designed to help new and existing gardeners find the seeds, tools, and tricks they need to succeed at home!

Game on!
Bring the family to the Cornwall Civic Complex for some exciting Junior A hockey action on Thursday March 13, 2025 between the Cornwall Colts and Brockville Braves. Game time is 7:30 pm. Can’t make it Thursday, join the Cornwall Colts and Kemptville 73’s on Saturday March 15, 2025. Game time is 2:00 pm and tickets are available at the Civic Complex Box Office prior to the game.
