Wednesday Night Movie Series

Wednesday Night Movie Series

The arrival of fall means the return of Aultsville Theatre’s popular Wednesday Night Movie Series at Galaxy Cinemas.

Entering its 17th season, this movie series offers a chance to explore and enjoy independent film from around the world, monthly from September to May. Opening night for the series is Wednesday September 19, 2018, pairing the first film screening with a cocktail reception immediately following.

“The Wednesday Night Film Series is presented in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival Group Film Circuit, which grants us access to an array of amazing independent films. From there, our film committee selects eight films we think our audience will enjoy,” said Janet Martel, General Manager at Aultsville Theatre.

The first three titles for the popular series were recently announced. They include:

September 19th – Mary Shelley
October 17th – The Wife
November 14th – Journey’s End

As a longstanding fundraiser for the theatre, proceeds from the movie series go towards the refurbishment, maintenance and operation of Aultsville Theatre.

Film enthusiasts can purchase the Full Series Pass – includes all eight films and the opening night reception – for $110. A Fall Series Pass (4 films) is available for $65, along with single screening tickets at $15.
