Cornwall Pride Parade and Festival returns on Saturday, July 9

Pride Parade

Cornwall’s Pride Week is here, and it will feature the much-anticipated Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, July 9th.

The community celebration, organized by Diversity/Diversité Cornwall, will feature a parade through Downtown Cornwall followed by a day-long festival in Lamoureux Park – the first since before the pandemic began.


Things kick off with the parade, beginning at 11 am from the Aquatic Centre parking lot.  The parade will head north on Sydney Street to Fifth Street then west to Pitt Street and south to Water Street, wrapping up back at the Aquatic Centre and Lamoureux Park.

Pride Festival

Lamoureux Park will play host to the Pride Festival from 12 pm to 8 pm with a beer tent, BBQ, bouncy castles, a kid’s zone, drag performances, live musical performances and much more.

The park will be full with dozens of booths set up for the day, including makers, food vendors, community organizations and more – make sure to check them all out!

Pride Week 2022

The Pride Parade and Festival is part of Pride Week 2022, running from July 3 – 10. There are a variety of different activities planned including a Pride Gala, a paint night, songwriting workshop and a Pride service at Knox-St. Paul’s Church.
