Ghost Walk returns with new Halloween scares
October 7, 2021The Ghost Walk is returning in a new location – and a whole new set of Halloween scares.
The popular Halloween event – one of the largest indoor haunted walks in Canada – is set to return on select dates from Friday, October 15th to Saturday, October 30th in a brand new location on the second floor of the Cornwall Square in Downtown Cornwall.
“We’re expecting a great turnout for this year’s event and we’re exciting to be located right in Downtown Cornwall,” said Mike Turcotte, a member of the event organizing committee. “People are looking for something to do and this will be a great opportunity to have some fun and get in the spirit of Halloween.”
Attendees will get to walk through a haunted maze complete with over 30 costumed actors adding a whole other element to the experience.
“It takes a lot of people to run this thing,” Turcotte added. “There’s a lot of work that goes into behind the scenes.”
The walk will be open on October 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30. For the younger ones and those who frighten easily, there are non-scare hours available from 5 pm to 6 pm each night followed by the regular scare hours from 6 pm to 9 pm. For the event finale, there will be an ‘extra scare’ experience available from 9 pm to 10 pm on the final night, Saturday, October 30th.
Ticket information
There are no advance ticket sales for the event – all tickets are to be purchased at the door.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children and $30 for a family pass.
Best of all, the funds from the event will be reinvested in the community. Proceeds from the Ghost Walk will be donated to the Agape Centre & Habitat for Humanity, Koala House and Victim Services and the Children’s Treatment Centre!
