Seaway Valley Theatre brings Mary Poppins to Aultsville Theatre

The Seaway Valley Theatre Company is set to warm up winter with a presentation of a popular Broadway musical in February at Aultsville Theatre.
The local theatre company will be presenting Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, a musical based on the works of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film.
The show will be presented on select dates in February with both evening and afternoon performances planned. There will also be an afternoon performance on Family Day, Monday, February 19th.
An all-time family favourite, Mary Poppins brings viewers to England in 1910 and a visit with the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that, “Anything can happen if you let it.”
The show is produced by Lise Richer and Shirley Robertson and directed by Lacie Petrynka with musical direction by Elizabeth Caddell and choreography by Melanie Samis.
Show times
Performances will be held at Cornwall’s Aultsville Theatre (2 St. Lawrence Drive) on February 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 at 7:30 pm and February 18 and 19 at 2 pm.
Ticket information
Tickets are available for tiered amounts of $25, $33 and $38 (all prices include a $1.50 Aultsville Capital Refurbishment Fee).
Advance tickets can be purchased online via The Ticket Wicket (click here to access) or by phone at 613-933-3998.
They will also be available at the door one hour before curtain time. The Aultsville Theatre is wheelchair accessible, but please phone us directly should you need wheelchair seating.
Patrons are encouraged to buy tickets in advance and get them early to avoid disappointment. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges.
