Cornwall Art Walk returns on Friday, June 28th

Downtown Cornwall is transforming into its very own art district for Cornwall Art Walk, taking place Friday, June 28th from 4 pm to 9 pm.
The annual event is held along Pitt Street from Second Street to Water Street – the road is closed to traffic for the event – and will see over 60 artist and artisans descend on the street along with street performers, interactive art spaces, live music, a Family Zone and much more. Downtown businesses will also be open to welcome shoppers.
“Art Walk offers a great opportunity to soak in all of the ambience that our arts community has to offer,” said Richard Salem of Your Arts Council, the organization that hosts the event. “There is something for the whole family to enjoy at Art Walk.”

Art Walk runs from 4 pm to 9 pm on Friday, June 28th in Downtown Cornwall.
Live music
Enjoy live music at Pommier Square (corner of Pitt and Second streets) featuring:
4pm – Senorita Sin
5pm – Jamie Heath Blues Party
6pm – Two for the Road
7pm – Katie Ditschun
8pm – The O’Neills
Street performances
Take in some awesome street performances along Pitt Street in front of 125 Pitt Street:
5pm – Dancing with Magoo
6pm – Poi and Fire with Moon Ohm
7pm – Belly Dancing with Yafa Goawily
8pm – Fire and Bubbles with Zoe Stardust
Family Zone
Check out the Family Zone in the courtyard in front of the Historic SDG Jail at Pitt and Water Streets! The schedule includes:
4pm – Puppetry & drama with Miss D
5pm – Art Lollipop Creations with Miss D & Fancy Skip Rope with Jackie from Iakwa’shatste Youth Fitness
6pm – Bubbles with Zoe Stardust
7pm – Dancing with Magoo
8pm – What’s My Line Improv Show with teens
