Laugh the night away at Cornwall Comedy Festival

The Cornwall Comedy Festival is returning in a big way with some big name acts headlining the Comedy Rebirth Gala on Saturday, October 15th at Aultsville Theatre.
Gala headliner Derek Seguin (SiriusXM Top Comic) will be joined on stage by host and Comedy Rebirth creator Rob Bebenek (Winnipeg Comedy Festival) and comedians Jen Grant (Just for Laughs), Nick Reynoldson (JFL 42) and Viveth K (Winnipeg Comedy Festival). The gala starts at 8 pm and tickets are on sale now.
“We’re excited to be back with a show after the three-year hiatus. COVID really hit the entertainment industry hard, especially live comedy. Everyone, including our sponsors, community partners and comedians, are happy to help put this show together,” said festival organizer Shawn Fowler.
Fowler said attendees will enjoy some top-notch talent, with local connections to boot. Grant was born in Cornwall while Viveth K spent some of his formative teenage years living in the city.
“The lineup is arguably the best one we’ve ever fielded for a Cornwall Comedy Festival gala. I think the talent involved with the Comedy Rebirth Gala are really going to show people what great stand up comedy is all about,” Fowler added. “There’s nothing like going to a great show and laughing until your cheeks hurt with 600-plus people. It’s really good for the soul.”

Tickets can be purchased online (click here) or at the City of Cornwall Box Office (located inside the Aquatic Centre, 100 Water Street East) from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or by calling 613-938-9400.
