For ten tantalizing days, from Wednesday, May 1st through Friday, May10th, Taco Love returns to Cornwall, uniting eleven local restaurants in a festive homage to one of the most iconic and beloved dishes – the taco. This taco extravaganza, now in its triumphant third year, promises to deliver an extraordinary experience to residents and visitors alike during the spirited season of Cinco de Mayo.
From the established fan-favourites like ESCA Gourmet Pizza + Bar to the fresh twists by Carrots N Dates, the participating restaurants – which include renowned names such as Shoeless Joes, Billy K’s, Seguin Patate, and many more – will each present a taco with a unique spin that transcends the traditional. This year’s lineup is a testament to the culinary diversity and creativity that thrive in our vibrant community.
Taco aficionados are encouraged to embark on a culinary circuit, visiting each of the eleven venues to sample their unique creations. What awaits is not just a meal, but an experience that is as rich in variety as it is in flavour.

True to its communal spirit, Taco Love will bestow upon its participants the power to crown the People’s Choice Award winner through an online vote at www.yourlocaltastebuds.ca.
In parallel, a panel of judges will deliberate to bestow the Judges Award, ensuring that professional palates and public passion both have a say in celebrating the ultimate taco creation.
This event is more than just about food; it’s a celebration of local flavour and a show of support for the community. Taco Love continues its partnership with Cornwall Tourism to bolster the local economy and spotlight Cornwall as a destination for exceptional dining.
The Taste Buds team, the culinary connoisseurs behind Taco Love, envision an ever-growing calendar of food events. After tacos, residents can anticipate indulging in the best poutines and perhaps even a festival dedicated to chicken wings, broadening the canvas of community-based culinary delights.
